Adrian Anderson is chief executive of UVAC. UVAC is the representative organisation for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) interested in vocational and technical education and apprenticeships. UVAC now has approximately 90 HEIs in membership and focuses on championing higher vocational learning. As such, UVAC has a major advocacy role in ensuring HEIs can deliver the apprenticeships and technical education employers need to increase productivity and individuals need to fulfil their potential. UVAC delivers a major support programme for HEIs engaged in Apprenticeship and our peer reviewed journal Higher Education, Skills and Work-based Learning published by Emerald achieved over 22,000 downloads in 2018. Adrian has articles regularly published in the sector press and represents the HE sector on key IfATE and ESFA groups.
